Basic icon face
Drawing with pigment and or chinese ink.
Yellow ochre and emulsion layer.
Sankir (Yellow ochre +black) layer on face plus other parts too.
Hematit or burnt siena on overcoat and reft (black+white) on undercloth and headdress.
Drawing with burnt siena.And eyes
First face lightening with mixture of yellow ochre+little red+little white and even optional little black.
More white and little mor yellow in the previous mixture.

More highlighting and rouge(with pigment oncotton pad, padding on) on cheecks and lipstick plus reft wih more white on headdress. Black on pupils.
Background whatever pleases one. Goldstrokes called assist on orange parts. Red texts. Now I forgot the background color on the little part between Christ and the Virgin plus the right cheek of the Virgin needs mor lightening. The Icon needs a couple days to reveal possible faults in my eyes. I will correct them and then it should dry for 6 months before I put a 3 hour mixtion on it, as end cover. To remeber this I write the day of last emulsion strokes on the back of the icon.
